What We Collect

Fridge2Fork collects only what is needed to provide your meal-planning experience:

• Apple ID identifier — used solely for authentication. We never see your email or name unless you choose to share it.
• Fridge photos — uploaded to identify food items and power your scan history and pantry continuity. Photos are stored privately and never shared with third parties or used to train models.
• Pantry contents and recipe history — stored to personalise suggestions across sessions.
• Email address (optional) — if provided via the waitlist or in-app settings, stored encrypted.
• Aggregate usage stats — anonymous counts (scans per day, cuisine selections) to improve the product.

What We Do Not Collect

• No contacts or social graph
• No location data
• No advertising identifiers
• No voice recordings

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to power your Fridge2Fork experience. We never sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising purposes.

Third-Party Services

• AI services — process your fridge photos to identify ingredients and generate recipes. Data is sent securely and not retained beyond the request.
• Cloud infrastructure — stores account and pantry data on encrypted infrastructure in the US.
• Apple — Sign in with Apple for authentication and subscription management.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account at any time from Settings > Delete Account. This permanently removes all photos, pantry data, recipe history, and personal data. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.
